As part of the ongoing effort district-wide to find an additional $12 million in expenditure reductions, the Extended Benefits Committee has been asked to reconvene immediately. Most school sites have a teacher, administrator, or staff person who serves on the committee. Meetings are scheduled for February 2, 16, & 25, as well as March 18. Please contact your site representative, Lisamarie Slater, or Alan Newlove if you have suggestions or ideas concerning changes to our benefits package that would provide cost savings or added revenue.

Dr. David Cash, visited our general senate meeting on August 31st to answer questions and to ask for our input concerning budget issues and related changes in classroom sizes. Faculty Senate is our avenue for addressing administrative concerns, however you are also encouraged to contact Dr. Cash directly with any and all helpful suggestions you have for responding to our present financial challenges.
