As part of the ongoing effort district-wide to find millions in expenditure reductions, the Extended Benefits Committee has resumed meeting. Most school sites have a teacher, administrator, or staff person who serves on the committee. Meetings are scheduled for March 18 and every 6 weeks thereafter, until our budget concerns are met. Please contact your site representative, Lisamarie Slater, or Alan Newlove if you have suggestions or ideas concerning changes to our benefits package that would provide cost savings or added revenue.

Dr. David Cash, visited our general senate meeting on March 8th to answer questions concerning budget issues. Faculty Senate is our avenue for addressing administrative concerns, however you are also encouraged to contact Dr. Cash directly with any and all helpful suggestions you have for responding to our present financial challenges.
